Paris Fashion Week 16- Street Style

Yesterday may have marked the end of fashion week in Paris but it’s officially given us permission to start reworking our wardrobes for the fall season. While we have yet to experience a kind of cold that’s got us bundling up entirely, we’ve definitely got a sneak peek at what sweater weather will be looking like for us in the coming months. Thanks to all the street stylers we spotted throughout the Parisian streets, we found it easy to gather up our favorite trends for you to try.

Boots

Sure we’ve spotted the usual dress with sneakers pairing throughout the year, but it’s finally time to do sporty-chic right with boots! We couldn’t be more excited to bring out our various boots to complete this season’s look. Whether you’re wanting to bare just a bit of your lower legs with a dress and some ankle booties or party on with knee highs for a stronger statement, we’re all for it.

Heavier Fabrics

We’re not breaking out the fur and hefty knits just yet, but we spotted some new fabrics this past week on the streets. Take for example velvet trousers and skirts that were mixed and matched to exude darker romantic themes or herringbone and tweed jackets to keep warm on top!

Layering Lightly

We sighted numerous ways street stylers chose to layer up their outfits without overdoing their entire look. Our two favorites were the choices of wearing trench coats vs. heavy jackets and sticking to high neck tops to forego wrapping up in scarves.

Midi Dresses

While our upper half may want to feel more snug this season, we know our legs can still handle the breeze. (At least for us It girls in Cali!) Go for a long sleeve midi dress to keep warm on top and let your legs run bare with some ankle booties. If you’re really starting to feel the breeze in your part of the world through, try lower layering by throwing your favorite midi dress over some trousers or jeans.
