Babycakes Bakery NYC

Yet another gluten-free bakery is hitting the blog pages of Haut Appetit! Nestled on a quiet street in New York’s Lower East Side, its quaint and subtle charm finds its way into your cooing heart (and more importantly, its baked goods into your mouth.) From doughnuts, to loafs, to cupcakes, this bakery offers everything pleasurable you could ask for, at gluten-free standards. They even have a picture of Martha hanging on the wall (yes Stewart) where her pearly white teeth and perfectly placed blonde hair juxtapose nicely against the eclectic array of retro-hippie bakery paraphernalia. Retro-hippie perhaps, but if you’re expecting pink bows and sparkling chandeliers, I would look elsewhere…
